Children's Ministry
How might we support families and children in talking about tough issues from a faith perspective? We will explore material, models, and the faith base for why these conversations are so important. From anti-racism to climate change to gun violence and several others, we will wonder together when and how to talk about all we hear in the news in relation to our faith. we will also explore simple faith practices families can use at home in difficult times and everyday times.
Sophie Maness is a certified Christian Educator at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Nashville TN. She has served a variety of Presbyterian churches over the years, always trying to bring joy, faith, and service together, for people of all ages. She loves chocolate, hiking and hanging out with family.
