Where Creativity and the Divine Collide
Spend a week exploring how different creative activities and art media engage us at a "soul level" as well as at an artistic level. Each day will involve a different creative challenge that pushes us outside our comfort zone and invites us to tap into our senses, intuition, hearts, heads, and the encouragement of the community as we experiment with our creativity. Absolutely no artistic experience required and the focus will be on the experience and process, although you will be amazed by what you create throughout the week. Whether weaving together words and fibers and sticks or making collages on shipping tags or experimenting with dyes and watercolors on teabags, the week promises to be full of possibilities for getting in touch with the divine in the midst of the chaos of color and design.
Class Limit: 12

Deb Guess enjoys all things creative and spends her days gardening, quilting, traveling, metalsmithing, cooking, hiking, and hanging out with family and friends. Living in Asheville with her husband, Deck, and two lovable but poorly behaved pooches, Deb is grateful to be surrounded by beautiful mountains and a wealth of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, nearby grandkids, and arts galore.
