Recreation: The Pulse, Rhythm and Flow
ARW's theme is perfect for this course: rhythms can be short, long, simple, complex, individual or community. Wonder! Wonder is everywhere, says creativity, possibility, awe and delight in and glory to God. We will be doing all of this as we play and learn games and activities and explore God in it all. We'll explore easy planning, obvious theology, tricks of leading, and loads of ideas and adaptations. You'll go home with a multiplicity of ideas, how to make events flow, and EXPERIENCE the Rhythms of Recreation and Wonder!
This course is part of the Recreation Leadership Training Track.
Lynn Turnage is the Director for Programs at Montreat Conference Center. She loves living near Montreat, time with her girls, mountain hikes with a good friend and theirs dogs, good(!) chocolate, and advocating that wonder, awe, laughter, and play are important parts of *ministry*!
