Soul Care: Tending to the Sacred Within
Let’s do soul care the ARW way! Come meet a brew master pastor, an international travel guide, and a community entrepreneur—three folks who tend to their own souls while creating space for others to do likewise. Expand your definition of soul care, try out some new spiritual practices, and find out what movies, golf, and basil have in common. Our last class will take us to The Railyard in Black Mountain for some beverages, games, and fellowship, surrounded by the natural wonder of the Blue Ridge Mountains (be prepared to cover your own food and beverage expenses).
Vickie Deith is at peace hanging out around the fire pit with friends and family, creating with paints and paper, and catching up on the latest Netflix hits. She is the Director of Educational Ministries at First Presbyterian Church, in Columbus, Georgia, and hosts Soul Care Saturdays, a monthly series of spiritual practice offerings. She also enjoys getting to work with her husband, Danny (he's the pastor).
