The Joy of Gardening
Come be inspired by the wonder of gardens! If the fragile beauty of flowers grown from seed, harvesting your first potatoes, or the cycles of monarch butterflies on your milkweed plants spark joy, this course is for you! Participants will learn how to start seeds 3 different ways and will be able to take their seedlings home with them. We'll enjoy a walking garden tour in Black Mountain, help beautify a Montreat space, and reflect on ways to share the joy of gardening with others. All shades of green thumbs are welcomed. If possible bring some seeds to swap and work gloves.
Megan Bannerman (she/her) is a passionate gardener, photographer and preschool teacher. She lives in Louisville, KY with her husband and daughter but will proudly claim her roots in Western North Carolina. She loves being outside, sharing what she grows and inspiring others along the way.
