Let's Play Along the Way - Beth Bannerman Gunn & Lynn Turnage
We are at our best when we experience God's creativity in community and recreation. Join in for a week of exploring and discussing theology and play. We will develop a theology of recreation while playing and learning together through planning, flow, activities, arts and crafts, and we'll even create new games of our own.
***This class is open to all, but is a part of our partnership to foster recreation and retreat leaders.
Beth Gunn is a recreation leader from Western North Carolina. She is the Associate for Youth for the Presbytery of Western North Carolina with a particular emphasis in the field of Recreation Ministry. She lives in the mountains of North Carolina with her husband, Bruce and pandemic pup - Fern. Their 3 daughters are all out of the nest and while she and Bruce miss them a lot they are enjoying being “GG” and Grumps to their 3 granddaughters! Time with family to play together has been a lifelong priority and made for a richer and stronger bond.
Lynn Turnage is the Director of Programs at Montreat Conference Center. Living in Montreat and loving time with her girls, mountain hikes with her dog Daisy and advocating laughter and play as important parts of ministry!
