Clay Fountains - Anne Stone - AM 4 Day
Listen to your imaginative side as you walk across the dam, sit by Lake Susan or hike next to a gurgling creek and imagine a bubbling fountain in your creative space – made by you! In class we will hand build a 3-piece, tabletop fountain suitable for creating a meditative space for introspection, prayerful contemplation, practicing yoga or just for fun. No experience is necessary for this class. You will create the 3 pieces in class and learn how to assemble the fountain. A small pump is included in the class fee but you will need to add your own rocks or marbles for inside the base (upon final assembly.) Enjoy taking home the sound of our Montreat creeks.

Anne Stone is a full-time artist working in a variety of mediums including pottery, stained glass and textiles. She was a small business owner representing more than 100 artists for over 6 years. For the past 14 years she has been a seasonal pottery instructor at the Sally Jones Pottery (MRA). Anne’s philosophy is that while arts and crafts are functional, they also inspire and beautify the spaces we live in.
