The Art of Stole Making Darci McKinnon - PM 4 Day
This course offers an opportunity to learn a new hobby or practice skills for one you may already have. We will be making a clergy stole for use in your personal life or as a gift for another. I’ll help you choose fabrics and give you hints for successfully completing the project. The goal is to make sewing fun and useful while learning new techniques that will inspire and enrich your lives and give you a sense of accomplishment. Come, join the FUN! Some sewing experience is helpful but not required. Class Limit 12. Materials Fee $35.
Darci McKinnon is a musician, artist, recreation/workshop leader and mother of two, daughter Aidan (19) and son Ian (10). She recently moved to Edmond, Oklahoma when her husband accepted a call to First Presbyterian Church, Oklahoma City. Darci spent most of her professional career working with youth and adults as a Camp and Conference center director and as a Christian Educator/Youth Minister for the Presbyterian Church (USA). She enjoys camping, playing games, sewing, knitting, reading, creating art and having fun with family and friends.
