Quilting Basics:
Beginner or experienced, learn quilting and patchwork techniques with emphasis on cross designs. Learn the basics or hone your quilting skills as you work on your projects. Just a little sewing experience and your sewing machine are needed to transform your ideas into a pulpit cloth, wall hanging or small banner and later you may want to incorporate your designs in a stole, a quilt, pillow, etc.
Class Limit 10 Materials Fee $25
After many years working in the sewing and fabric industry Karen is “retired,” now doing freelance design work for the sewing industry and creating stoles for her Etsy shop. Karen received her master's degree in fine crafts, (yes, that's a major!) and since then has enjoyed her experiences teaching and managing businesses for some very creative business owners. Pioneer Memorial Presbyterian Church in Solon, OH, is her church home where she’s an active volunteer.
