Mind, Body & Soul - Meredith Batts Trout - AM 4 Day
God created our bodies to heal through movement; Through laughing, being together, loud singing, and dancing. Movement and exercise can be a spiritual energizing plug for your body and spirit. During our time together we will look at the connection between mental health and movement, and brain function and productivity through movement. We are going to learn how to incorporate activity for all ages to bring back to your ministry and faith community. This class is designed to inspire you, to lift you up, and energize your body and spirit.
When we move we feel better, and it is reflective in every aspect of our life. An energized spirit can lead to a clear mind and a willing and fulfilled servant. We will take some time; about 45 minutes to an hour each day to learn different types of exercise and movement including: barre, cross training, dance, and mat work.Yoga mats are encouraged but can also be provided on request.
