Mind, Body & Soul - Meredith Batts Trout - AM 4 Day
Exercise is like magic for you mind, body, and spirit. When we move we feel better, and when we feel better we do better. Everything is connected. A healthy body can lead to a clear mind, and a clear mind leads to a willing and fulfilled spirit. Each morning, we will take some time to learn and understand the science and research behind the benefits of exercise for your mind, your body, and your soul. We will also be active! We will do approximately one hour of a new type of exercise each day. Barre and Mat work, Cross Fit/ Boot Camp, Multi-Level Cardio, and Friday we will hike up Look Out Mountain Together. All fitness levels welcome! Yoga Mats are encouraged!
Meredith is a 2004 Graduate of Presbyterian College and has been serving at the Director of Christian Education at First Presbyterian Church in Lexington, NC since 2011. In that past 16 years she has served various roles with churches in Columbia, SC: Mount Pleasant, SC; and Lexington, NC. In 2015 Meredith became a certified fitness instructor and began teaching classes locally. In 2019, she opened BEATS Barre Studio a boutique barre and fitness study in her hometown and specializes in personal training. Through these experiences she focused her efforts on how to integrate her passions for faith and fitness to serve her community.
