The problems of the world can be exhausting. Knowing how to address them – and sometimes even bringing them up in the faith community – can be a challenge. We’ll dig into scriptural texts and mine our creativity to get at five of the challenges of our day – violence, racism, poverty, immigration/migration and climate change.
Carl Horton serves as the coordinator for the Presbyterian Peacemaking Program of the Presbyterian Church (USA). He is highly committed to equipping peacemakers and strengthening the church at all levels for its engagement in peacemaking. In his free time he is a backyard farmer, piano student and wrangler of dogs.
