When we are drowning, we need resilience, feelings of inner calm and a deep confidence. Neuroscience has proven that our brain is being shaped, molded and changed by our faith practices every day. In this workshop, we will explore mindfulness, ancient faith practices, mindful games to use with young people. God has given us the resources to tread water, let's integrate them in our lives.
Michelle Thomas Bush has been known for running full speed but found balance in her life through mindfulness. She serves as the Associate Pastor for Youth and Their Families at Myers Park Presbyterian Church in Charlotte. MTB finds joy in hiking, her family, feasts and festivities and a simple cup of tea on the front porch.
